Untapped Gay Phone Sex Revenue
SinTalk
Exclusively for PornResource.Com

Now that many of us are all back from Vegas and hopefully recovered, it's time to make some MONEY and pay for all those travel expenses! It's been far too long since my last Porn Resource article! This site is the bomb and anything that I can do to entertain and educate it's surfers on the Phone Sex business makes me a happy guy. If you find the rest of this article interesting and informative then check out the other articles in the archives here on PR, there's gold in there!

Today I want to focus on something that I've neglected to market to webmasters... GAY PHONE SEX. It sells exceptionally well and I've been making money selling it for a very long time personally and it's been a SinTalk product for just about 3 months. I'm not going to use this article space to explain the whole phone sex biz, if you'd like that you can find it here in the PR archives or even more on the SinTalk website. What we are going to discuss is how you can make money with targeted gay phone sex marketing on your websites.

I don't believe in smack-talk, I'm an honest guy. I only represent products that I've personally experienced and made money with. So, we're going to start with my little story on how I first made money selling gay phone sex. No, I never made millions with my gay 800/900 combo and the tiny free site I used to market them... but once you see the effort that I put into the whole endeavor you'll appreciate the payoff. I think there are some good lessons in here!

In June of 2000 I created a small gay free site at 1dicks.com, it's still up today - fucking ugly as it is, I've almost never changed a thing. It's such a fucking ugly site I can't believe I'm showing you. After making money selling straight and other niche phone sex I thought "self, I should do a site just for gay men." So I sat down with a blank page in Dreamweaver trying to figure out exactly how I was going to build a FREE picture site for the sole purpose of selling gay phone sex and not other sponsor programs. It sounded like a fun experiment.

I decided on the concept. I was going to personalize this site with a made up alter ego and have him tell a story that was focused around his own phone sex experiences. Then, I'd give away a bunch of free gay pics and splatter gay phone sex numbers everywhere. On the front page I wrote a 'bio' for my new character, Josh. It's still up there. I always enjoyed writing so what I ended up creating was a story about my gay alter-ego Josh and his being troubled with occasional loneliness. What I drew on was what I've learned from my gay friends - that it's not an easy lifestyle and it's also really fucking hard to find a life partner. It's why I could never believe the right-wing christian BS propoganda... nobody would ever choose such a lifestyle to endure such endless persecution.

So, the pitch on 1dicks.com was that Josh often gets lonely and he finds some solace in calling gay phone sex lines. After all, phone sex IS real people and it IS live. Sure, it's primary function is to help callers skillfully spank their monkey but beyond that most phone sex calls end up with the two people talking about their lives, etc. It is personal, it is live - it is whatever the fantasy or desire of the caller is. I credit the success of this small marketing campaign to the story that I told - and also the simple fact that I made gay numbers visible to gay traffic.

My wife wasn't too pleased with me writing as a single gay man, LOL. Ultimately, though, this was just creative work and I drew from rational thinking and life experience to write something that is probably true for alot of men out there. Since this is a story, should add another funny tid-bit. My character was named after I met Josh from Pornication at my first convention in New Orleans, an truly inspirational person to my online business. He happens to NOT be gay. Nonetheless, he wasn't flattered and I it totally freaked him out when I showed him the site -LOL.

Next, I added a relatively large free area with pics. Approximately 500 free gay photos. I reduced all those fuckers and stamped every one with my toll free and 1-900 gay phone sex line. I figured that it's one more impression of the number and probably people save some of these things to their own computer. Also, instead of linking directly to the photos in the gallery I put each one on it's own page and put a text ad for phone sex right below the picture. That's it, site was done and now it needed traffic.

Here's where this gets interesting. I've spent a total of maybe 3 hours marketing this website since it's been launched - real grass roots shit. I did a handful of link exchanges, maybe 10, and did submissions to all the major search engines. The site gets about as much traffic now as it did once it leveled off after my first month of higher link exchange traffic. This site never had much traffic and it's got shit for traffic now. However, I still earn every month. The first month or so the site was up the traffic was higher (still small at maybe 500-1000/day) and the revenues were at about $600 with that . When it launched all I was promoting was the numbers but now there are some other small ads. It's small potatoes and probably gets about 125 unique visitors a day now - 18 months later. Now with shit for traffic the site is still making about $150/mo on those phone sex lines. Some of that is the repeat callers on the phone sex lines, the rest is from the small amount of new surfers that go there daily.

I put a little extra effort creating a targeted gay free site... did some link exchanges and SE submissions... and let it sit. So, what does it all mean? What it means is that if you have gay traffic and show them phone sex numbers you will make something. 19 months later I estimate that I've made about $5000+ for maybe 10 hours worth of work. Dumb luck? Absolutely fucking not. The numbers are what they are. The site never 'hit it big' from any one traffic source, never got lucky with search engines. In my estimation of risk vs. reward, this was a winner. After all, it's simply a free site with pics and that's quite a bit of phone sex sold with such little traffic. Especially considering ALL the traffic only went there for free pictures. If you have 5k-10k-50k-100k or more of daily gay traffic, how much can you make? We won't know until you try.

There's my story... that was my first experience selling gay phone sex. It went well... and my other phone sex promotions were larger scale and even more profitable. That's why I own a phone sex company now and run the largest affiliate program catering exclusively to online phone sex marketing.

The market is WIDE FUCKING OPEN for gay phone sex. I surf around and spend a lot of time on the phone talking to webmasters. There is almost NO gay phone sex promoted on the web - and not for a good reason! It's just like with straight and niche phone sex, it's been overlooked, that simple. Do you think if you picked up a gay magazine you'd see phone sex ads? Hell yes! Do you think the advertisers would buy ads if they weren't making bank? Absolutely not. There's a reason that some of the largest affiliate programs have signed up for SinTalk, they see a revenue opportunity with no risk and a unique hook.

Everyone promotes paysites, pills, videos, toys, blah blah blah. We all make bank doing that.

BUT

Consider this: when you promote phone sex you don't lose any traffic. Simply add your numbers in a small text ad in the first scroll of your free and members area, without a link to a bigger ad or site, and start earning. Your surfers never leave your site. You benefit from the upside that many will enjoy your site and pick up the phone before, during or after they click on your other promotions. Remember! Phone sex is a huge industry. We know that people are surfing now more then ever. There are hundreds of thousands of gay phone sex customers surfing the web right now that aren't seeing advertisements. Isn't it time they called your number? Whether it's hundreds or thousands monthly, there's money out there for you to capture.

Phone sex pays well. The average phone sex call on a Toll Free phone sex line is worth about $12-$20 NET to you as a webmaster. Plus, you have the upside potential that your caller will return to your lines LONG after he is done with your site. If they call, chances are they're writing your number down. I encourage you to shop around for a provider but at the end of the day make sure you visit SinTalk. No setup fees and the most personalized support ever is provided by me. When you compare SinTalk to other programs I believe you'll find it more comprehensive, informed and with the best payouts anywhere.

SO, if you've got sites with gay traffic then get yourself gay 800/900 phone sex numbers. For free areas and pay areas, phone sex is the annuity that keeps paying. You'll get your own unique vanity phone sex numbers with SinTalk and they'll be yours forever to market. Mention Porn Resource and you'll get to pick a cool vanity for your toll free line (the numbers will spell one of these words): ANAL, COCK, BEAR, BOYS, DICK, FUCK, HARD, HEAD, HOTT, HUNK, JOCK, STUD, TWINK... or dozens more! If you need niche gay lines for specific kinks, we'll hook you up with whatever you need... twinks, bears, daddys, jocks... you name it we have it!

Best of luck with your websites in 2002!
